Athletics: Kulichenko suspended as Russia`s coach
Valery Kulichenko who has been at the helm of Russia`s team since 1999 has been suspended.
Russia`s hammer-throwers Tatiana Lysenko and Ekaterina Khoroshikh suspected of doping use claim that the national side head coach Valery Kulichenko was the one to give them the substances.
An investigation will be carried out to determine whether or not Valery Kulichenko had to do with the incident.
Meanwhile, an acting head coach has to be appointed who will work with the team at the World Championships in Osaka.
